Volunteer to Host an IPFF Filmmaker

The celebration of culture and peace, through film, fashion and new friendships is what IPFF is all about and we hope you’ll consider the unforgettable experience of hosting a filmmaker during the show, January 18-20, 2018. The International Peace & Film Festival attracts filmmakers from all over the world. Almost 90 countries have participated in our festival since 2015, and each year we discover more talented filmmakers who are excited to come and see their films presented before audiences on a big screen. This will be the first time in the United States for many of our participants, and we urge you to step out of your comfort zone and discover how rewarding the host family program can be.

Why We Need Your Help

Because our participants are independent filmmakers, they are often funding their film and travel at their own expense, making it difficult to afford lodging and transportation at the event. This is where host families can make a huge difference to a filmmaker, by helping them offset accommodation costs during the festival. In return, the host family gains an amazing experience of cultural exchange with an energetic artist from another country.
