Enchanted Ink: is a hybrid 2D/3D short animated film produced by students of the University of Central Florida School of Visual Arts and Design Character Animation Specialization. May, the main character, represents the youth in all of us who is afraid of failure. Her father Arsalan demonstrates the magical world that comes to life through mastery of the art of calligraphy. Unable to duplicate his mastery, May becomes dejected. When duty calls May’s father away, he entrusts her with a very special stylus that holds the key to discovery. Through careful execution May succeeds and a loyal friend is created. In her excitement to continue May erroneously unleashes a malevolent spirit. Together May and her dog must overcome the threat of the spirit to transform it into a playful companion.
