An asteroid made of metal between Mars and Jupiter, and an Orbiter, named Psyche, will depart from Florida in October 2023 to explore it. It will take 4 years to arrive, but we have a chance to learn a lot about our own planet’s metal core and test high speed communication based on photons at the same time.
