About the director: I am a female director and producer. I earned my bfa degree at the New York Film Academy in filmmaking and am currently pursuing my producing mfa degree at the New York Film Academy .
My purpose with “Lab Dog” is to bring awareness about the inhumane practices of animal testing which affects millions of animals every year.
I am hoping that with this film people will question the ethics of a practice that in today’s world could easily be replaced with safer methods which require no animal testings.
Lab dog has won the 2019 Shout Out for Animals Film Festival award in Cyprus and won the honorable award for the 2019 Top Shorts Film Festival as a first time director, as well as an achievement award in the 2019 Indie Short Fest.
Our actress and animal rights activist Suze Lanier-Bramlett has acted in Wes Cravens cult film The Hills Have Eyes (1977).
