Muftnosh: Muftnosh is based on a Manto tale about the different kinds of freeloaders that cigarette smokers encounter. Narrated beautifully in Urdu this B&W film successfully recreates the old world charm of pre-partition India. The film tries to do full justice to the faintly sarcastic tone of Manto’s writings.
