Heal – Veterans Speak About PTSD: This short documentary is an integral part of a long-term project, entitled HEAL!, about military personnel who are recovering from the traumas of war with the help of their highly trained service dogs. This film features five veterans speaking about their personal challenges with coming home, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), and the human-canine bond that helps redirect their focus and nourishes their will to live. U.S. service members are committing suicide at an unprecedented rate of 22 each day.
